KRYBAR from Arcelor Rodanfge must not be confused with the word"krybar" wich appears in a lot of polish sits and means an armoured vehicles unit :Quote : It was build by "Krybar" with help of workers of city's main powerplant and inhabitants of Powisle district. The entire construction took only 13 days to complete during the Warsaw Uprising under extremely heavy conditions.The main task of "Kubus" was to take part in the capture of Warsaw University complex"Unquote.

KRYBAR meets the requirements of * BS 4449 and BS 7777 Part3 for flat-bottomed, vertical, cylindrical storage tanks in low temperature conditions at a design temperature.

* BS 7777 is the most often applied standard and the referenced material design for the construction of LNG, LPG and Ethylene tanks. The three main mechanical criteria of BS7777, at design temperature, are:

a) uniform elongation at maximum load on un-notched bars: min 3%
b) uniform elongation at maximum load on notched bars: min 1%
c) NSR >= 1

Since 1980, KRYBAR has continuously been improved and adapted to the expanding requirements of the growing LNG industry and design companies.

  1. LNG tank with a design temperature of -165°C:
    KRYBAR -165
  2. ETHYL tank with a design temperature of -105°C:
    KRYBAR -105
  3. LPG tank with a design temperature of -50°C:
    KRYBAR -50.
